I absolutely LOVE yoga classes with Helen! She is simply amazing! Helen volunteers yoga classes at the inpatient treatment for EDs, I am super grateful for her offering her time to do these classes with us patients, I always finish the class feeling extremely calm and relaxed, which is a really great feeling after a long week of what can be stressful and difficult treatment? Thank you Helen!!!!!!!!
Helen is the best yoga teacher I have ever encountered. She has created the space to make the experience so joyful & satisfying. I have incorporated a permanent yoga practice in my life thanks to Helen.

We first met Helen about 4 years ago after moving to Halifax from Russia. We were going through a bit of culture shock on top of getting used to basically living at night instead of a day, as the time difference was 8 hours. Since the moment we stepped in the class we decided that we should come here regularly. Her soft approach helped us deal with the culture shock and time difference, and physical imbalances. She is a wonderful yoga instructor and a very nice person. We can proudly call ourselves her friends now. I would recommend her class without hesitation if you are looking for some yoga time and physical balance.

Helen is a true yogini, her manner and voice, her calm and supportive teaching, and her weaving together of mind, body, spirit in each of her classes. Helen is experienced in many styles of yoga from laughter yoga to prenatal, restorative, basic, gentle, advanced . . . You name it, she teaches it. She knows a lot about body mechanics while also representing the spiritual and meditative aspects of yoga. She is positive and cheerful but not 'over the top'. Helen enjoys yoga herself so much that you will often see her participating in classes given by other teachers!
I am new to Yoga. Helen was great in providing accessible and encouraging introduction to yoga while yielding insights into it depths. Our class had a great range of experience and she provided direction and inspiration to go as far as we wanted. Her instructions had a great blend of the spiritual side and practical physical hints. I found even my hiking style had changed and improved taking her classes.
Helen is an amazing instructor. After every class, I leave feeling rejuvenated, and more connected with my mind and body.
I haven't taken Helen's yoga class since I live so far away, but I had the honor of having her in my laughter yoga leader training this summer.
She is a very gentle, warm, kind and thoughtful person, and a beautiful spirit. She already had some experience leading laughter yoga sessions, and during the training, she generously and kindly shared her wisdom and knowledge with other participants.
I can easily and confidently imagine that her yoga classes are wonderful! I hope a lot of people will get to experience and feel her love of yoga.

A work colleague and I attended our first ever laughter yoga class with Helen and were instantly hooked! It was so much fun and very beneficial. I felt amazing for days. Helen led the class very informatively and made it comfortable for my friend and I. We were the only two that showed up for the class that day, but it was still fantastic!

Helen is very experienced and skilled as a yoga teacher. She plans classes carefully and blends creativity with traditiuonal practice. She tunes into the people in the room. Each class is an adventure. I leave feeling calm and inspired. She also leads hip hop and laughter yoga sessions. She is an innovator.
