Helen Holland is a Yoga Alliance UK registered teacher, currently teaching in the Liverpool area at yoga studios, gyms and independent locations, as well as within community government funded initiatives, and also privately.
She qualified as an Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow teacher in Kranti Yoga, Goa (India), qualifying in the discipline of Ashtanga Yoga. After 13 years of personal practice, she took the ultimate leap of faith, resigned from her career and made Yoga her life. As a Law and Business graduate with a wealth of commercial knowledge and experience in sales and procurement, Helen made the decision that happiness does not come from a successful salary and job title, it comes from within, and Yoga is the journey that can take everyone to this place with practice, patience, enthusiasm and dedication, and it is this that Helen wants to share with as many people as possible through teaching and doing what she loves every day.
Her approach is very alignment based and her excellent understanding of Yoga anatomy ensures her classes are safe and accessible for all. Her traditional led classes are high energy with soothing relaxations and consistently encompass the principles of Ashtanga Yoga: Vinyāsa, Breath, Bandha, and Drishti. Devoted and enthusiastic, she practices daily and integrates the eight limbs of Yoga and yogic philosophy into her everyday life. Always teaching with heartfelt intention, Helen teaches a range of styles, including but not limited to: Ashtanga Vinyāsa Flow, Ashtanga Primary Series, Vinyāsa Flow, Baby Yoga, and Chair Yoga.
