Having practiced various yogic disciplines for over 13 years In 2015, I decided to train to become a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I qualified with 200hr Vinyasa Flow RYT, furthering my studies to 500hrs RYT in Classical Hatha and Ashtanga in 2016.
I am delighted to offer classes for different abilities as well as in different styles!
My focus and goal is to help people to help themselves.
Along with the delivery of 'generic' yoga classes and yoga courses, I deliver other types of yoga classes with specific groups in mind:
Coming from a professional background in mental health and well-being, I deliver classes for people with mental health complications, such as Dementia, substance misuse, anxiety and depression. I also cater for students with other complications such as students undergoing cancer treatments, people with arthritic conditions, MS and people who are registered as blind or partially sighted (including their guide dogs!).
I aim to create a supportive, nurturing and inclusive environment for all yoga students.
I am currently studying Yoga Therapy for Mental health Conditions with the Minded Institute. I hope to qualify as a yoga Therapist by spring 2019, registering with the British Council for Yoga Therapy (BCYT).
