I went to my first yoga class when I was 21, then continued to go to yoga classes wherever I lived to keep me healthy and manage a stressful job. When I left the corporate world I wanted to do something more useful, so I trained to be a yoga teacher. I'm also a part-time pharmacist, but I find the benefits that yoga gives people-even just one class, really surpasses that found in many pharmaceuticals! I advocate taking responsibility for our own health, eating well, walking outside and practising yoga! I also realise this is a challenge for us all, and aim to make my yoga classes friendly and fun as well as healing at many levels.
I teach classes for all stages of your life- pregnancy, post-natal, hatha and flowing classes and also a gentle addition I teach an evidence based 12 week course "Yoga for Healthy Lower Backs"
One-to-one classes are designed around the individual, and I also run yoga retreats.
