Years ago I attended my first yoga class, a Bikram-style, hot yoga practice that I was certain would kill me. Ninety minutes later I left the room convinced that I could conquer the world. It's amazing what yoga does to you and I'm still in complete awe of this feeling each and every time I step off the mat.
I have practiced yoga for more than twelve years, including a wide range of styles from Hatha to Power Vinyasa to Bikram to Restorative and more. I completed my Yoga Teaching Training at Charleston Power Yoga in 2013 and am RYT-200 certified through Yoga Alliance.
My style of yoga is both powerful and accessible. All levels of students are welcome in my classes which are held mostly outdoors in Charleston, Mt Pleasant, Sullivan's Island, and Isle of Palms, SC.
I feel most at home and at ease when I'm outside, closer to the Earth, closer to life, and where an occasional dog running by gives me the giggles. It's my commitment to give you a great workout, a few laughs, and plenty of reasons to smile.
