I was born in 1968 in Donetsk (then USSR, later Ukraine, now unrecognized People's Republic of Donetsk).

I've been practicing meditation since 80s. Since 1991 I've been practicing Chan-Mi qigong and Taiji-quan with Chinese master Feng Shao-Yi first in the USSR then in China. In 1994 I was authorized to teach basic methods of Chan-Mi qigong.
Since 1992 I've been practicing Son (Korean Chan) with Won-Myong sunim, a late abbot of the Lotus Lantern International Buddhist Center being his Russian translator.
I was practicing Hatha-yoga for few years and then Yantra-Yoga for many years.

I was an interpretor for numerous Buddhist teachers from different traditions that were teaching throughout ex-USSR.
Since 1996 I've been studying Dzogchen-Atiyoga with Chogyal Namkhai Norbu who authorized me in 2002 to teach the base of the view, meditation and behaviour of Sutra, Tantra, and Dzogchen for the International Dzogchen Community.

In 2010, I started to teach contemplative practices in a secular context becoming one of the first mindfulness teachers in ex-USSR.
In 2012, upon request of Yoga Journal (Russia) I created an online course on meditation that attracted nearly 7000 subscribers and still remains one of the most popular meditation courses in Russian.
In general, I taught meditation in more than 50 places of 19 countries from Caribbean to Pacific.

Since 2012 I've been giving courses on meditation for the students of Transpersonal Psychology of the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis.
In 2016 I gave a course for the teachers of the Moscow Gestalt Institute.

My main current project is devoted to applying contemplative practices for recognizing and neutralizing cognitive distortions and psychological manipulations.

In summer 2016, I presented meditation at the Moscow Urbanistic Forum organized by the Meria of Moscow and then at the forum of the Agency of Strategic Initiatives patronized by the President of Russia.

In 2014, when a civil war began in my city of Donetsk, I had to move to Moscow. In 2017 I completed aliyah in Israel. I currently live in Kiryat-Motzkin, Haifa district.
