My name is Ira.
I am psychologist, dance-movement trainer and yoga teacher.
My understanding of yoga principles and philosophy starts in early childhood from explanations and coaching of my grandfather, who start practicing yoga to heal himself after World War II and continued till the last days of his life aged 90.
My goal is to help students in any age and physical state build new connection between their conscious and their unconscious selves. To engage you in a culture of love/respect/understanding and accepting of your body and your human nature. For mental and physical heath, for best quality of life, for happy longevity.
My inspiration for yoga lessons comes from eastern and western techniques: somatic & ideokinesis, Feldenkrais method, anti-stress & mindfulness technics, hatha yoga, Iyengar yoga, ashtanga yoga, Korean yoga Kouk Son Do, classical and contemporary dance technics and vipassana meditation.
