Yoga is entered into my life when I decided to leave France for Africa in 2008. It then plunged me in humanitarian work in helping others and faces a different reality: hunger , disease, extreme poverty, death. Yoga will be my lifeline, my breath of fresh air and will help me to keep my balance and better manage my emotions. I discovered the benefits of meditation, breathing, singing mantras. I stayed 8 years in Africa, and it is through this experience of exceptional life i will reconnect with nature and myself.
Daily practice of Hatha yoga, pranayama, chants of mantras and meditation will bring me to a profound realization of the importance of reconnecting to myself, my self-healing ability, in this world where the material aspect is becoming more and more important, at the expense of our inner power.
After several trips in India, I decided to spend a Hatha Yoga Teacher Training at Samyak Yoga school in Mysore. I will take advantage of these months in India to meet spiritual teachers that will help me to go further in my spiritual practice (tantra yoga, yoga ShivaShakti, yoga sounds healing). It also deepened my understanding in Ayurveda (massage and panchakarma) which is also part of my daily lifestyle and I associate it with my yoga practice.
The teaching of great spiritual masters inspire and guide in the path of yoga that is an eternal learning (Mata Amritanandamayi, Osho, Sri Aurobindo, Swami Prajnanpad ...).
It's a great chance for me and I feel very gratefull to share my knowledge of yoga with the others, and then help them to find serenity, inner strenght, and also to let go and reconnect with that part of that divine we all have within us.
My yoga classes revolve around pranayama exercises, asanas, mantras and meditative relaxation. They are guided by the energy of the moment, the students and the rhythm of the earth and its seasons.
