I came to a regular practice of yoga after several intensive meditation retreats. My body was so uncomfortable with extended sitting meditations and so I wanted to develop flexibility and strength to support my meditation practice. Along my journey in yoga I also developed body awareness and a deeper understanding of the connection between the body and mind. I loved this so much that I knew I had to share this exploration and wisdom with others. I went on to do a two year diploma in yoga in both India and Australia. Now, after practicing yoga for 12 years and teaching for 2, my love and inspiration is still growing.
I teach community, private and one on one classes. My classes focus a lot on the body, breath and relaxation or meditation. I like to encourage an exploration of these experiences and allow for each individual's process to unfold in a natural and easeful way.
