I have been teaching since 2011, but practising yoga (in the US and UK) for over 20 years. I am learning all the time, from other teachers, and from my students.
I incorporate different styles of yoga into my teaching that have resonated with me, and I study anatomy and injury-prevention. My teacher training was Iyengar-based.
I describe my classes as Hatha Flow, mixed ability, and I like to ensure that the body is properly aligned in all postures, and that the breathing is of utmost importance.
I would like everyone to experience yoga, how it makes you feel better about yourself, and to understand that it is literally for every body.
I work in the music business and yoga has always been a perfect antidote to pressure, deadlines and long hours. It keeps me sane and healthy!
I am a founder member of a group of like-minded and trained yoga teachers in the south of England, called Yoga South. 6 of us rotate teaching a Saturday morning EarlyBird class (8am) in Wokingham/Crowthorne (see schedule)
