Jan has been a fitness and yoga instructor for over 20 years. She has a vast athletic background and incorporates elements of Anusara, Vinyasa, and Kundalini yoga as well as modern dance in her classes without losing a sense of lightheartedness and fun.

Her devout study of yoga began after experiencing transformative effects from practicing as a student.

She is grateful for her teachers. Her passion for teaching yoga stemmed from the affect yoga has had meeting challenges in her own life while maintaining focus, clarity, and is currently an E-RYT and is currently enrolled in a 300 Hour YTT program and will complete her 500 hours in August 2015.

Great yogi

I took a series of yoga classes for runners a few years ago, and although I was a neophyte, Jan made me feel welcome. I highly recommend her classes.

Jan Cokinos is a teacher's teacher. She is the best yoga teacher I have ever had and when I am not in a class of hers I miss her terribly
