I am a RYT-200 yoga instructor and have been teaching yoga since 2001. I have taught in many different settings, including universities, community, corporate, senior centers and in private yoga studios. My favorite groups to teach are those new to yoga and to those with some kind of limitation. I have spent many hours studying various types of yoga and with many teachers to find my special niche. I am passionate about helping others transform and find hope, confidence, clarity and better health through yoga, just as I have done.
My classes are focused on stability and body awareness, not just flexibility. I lean more towards a gentle approach to yoga than POWER yoga. I teach vinyasa, slow flow, and adaptive chair yoga.
I recently self published a yoga book and DVD, Adaptive Yoga with A Chair.
