Starting on the first Monday eve of every month - 4 week Group yoga class - concentrating on asanas and alignment - for Mixed abilities - alternative postures given for all abilities - starts at 18:45 for 1 hr 15 mins
Wed eves at 19:15 - starting 3 March - 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course
Friday eves at 18:00 - 1 hr - FREE COMMUNITY YOGA - Gentle yoga for all abilities - you still need to book online and complete Health Form please as normal
1-2-1 Yoga Therapy and Butekyo Sessions - available via Zoom or Face to Face - various times each week

I tried my first yoga class out as a extra soft fitness option when training for the London Marathon - boy was that Iyengar class with June Whittaker not a soft option! When June left London to live in France and marry Christian Pisano I started lessons with June's first yoga teacher, Mira Mehta who has written numerous books including the Iyengar Way. Since moving out of London I continued to attend courses regularly through the year with Mira and also when possible with June and Christian. I completed my teacher training with Mira at her school in London called the Yogic Path. I have since qualified in teaching Meditation, Yoga for Pregnancy, Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness and Butekyo. I have also qualified as Yoga Therapist and I am in my final year of a Masters in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation at SOAS, University of London.
My classes, like yoga, are for everyone! To be enjoyed and relished - there is a lot of laughter as well as quiet, restorative down time.
My teaching follows the Iyengar method, which is known worldwide for its safe, progressive instruction in a wide range of postures and breath control techniques. Based on detailed, accurate knowledge, the method is also known for its efficacy in treating health problems through Yoga. I am also qualified to teach Yoga for Pregnancy and offer pre and post natal classes on demand. I am able to offer 1-1 Yoga sessions.
Classes are fully equipped in a purpose built cedarwood Yoga Shack in the garden with a Yoga Wall. I hold an Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate.
Classes are booked and paid for via my website Classes are held 3 evenings a week and in non-Covid times 1 morning a week.
All the courses I have completed allow me to explore the huge world of yoga from Ancient times right up to the most recent scientific research on the efficacy of yoga so I can share that knowledge with everyone.
