I run Lakshmi Yoga for over fifties who are young at heart,and we teach Dru yoga and meditation classes, workshops, walks and one to ones. I have been teaching for over 10 years and find that people really respond to the gentle flowing style of Dru.

beginner to yoga

as a dyspraxic 50 something who finds stillness difficult if not impossible I would recommend this class. Jane is very patient and spends time both demonstrating and explaining. so that one feels encouraged and validated. I have tried a mixture of ActiveX and found them all rewarding.

Excellent teacher

As a yoga novice I find Jane's lessons exhilarating and I look forward to them each week. Jane is both caring and patient, she explains the movements diligently and always allows you to work at your own pace .She emphasises throughout the classes to only do what your body tells you to do. I have found that most helpful.

Very Relaxing!

I find Jane to be a very friendly and helpful teacher, and she makes the class feel that it has a fun and easy going atmosphere. The class is always extremely relaxing and uplifting and I always feel happier and more refreshed when I come out.

Jane's classes are really helpful

I've been going to Jane's classes since January and I love them. She is friendly and makes everyone welcome, and she creates a relaxing, pleaseant environment. Her moves are easy to follow and her voice helps me to relax when doing the breathing exercises and meditation. At the end of each session she reads something to us that usually has a spiritual connection andI find these really uplifting. The new year's 'prayer' she read out to us is wonderful - I have learnt it by heart and say it every night. I am finding a definite benefit from doing the yoga, breathing and meditation and am able to do them at home as Jane gave us all some notes to help us. I would definitely recommend her classes to anyone.

very welcoming teacher, particularly good for beginners

Jane is a lovely caring person who constantly checks that everyone is comfortable with all the postures, room temperature and hydration. This can occasionally mean that the more experienced attenders have to wait a minute or two between postures but encourages a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Peace and Focus with Jane!

Jane O Halloran's Dru Yoga and Meditation Classes are a true pleasure to be part of. I enjoy every class and get so much from each one, during and afterwards. I feel more peaceful, am more focused, can think very clearly and my body always feels less tight and more flexible. I feel that her classes benefit my mind, body and spirit, and I shall keep going for as long as Jane runs them. Amazing! Elfreda Affleck

Meditation class

Jane's meditation class felt like nectar for the soul. From the start she created a welcoming, relaxed and inclusive atmosphere for beginners like me. The session was well structured with a nice balance of theory, movement, deep relaxation and meditation. It was lovely to have the opportunity to just be and experience the stillness meditation brings. Thank you Jane. We are looking forward to the next one!
