We all strive for happiness in life and in experiencing life itself we can either opt in or opt out. I choose to opt in and now help others to do the same. I love keeping healthy and live life enjoying the outdoors, training and yoga. Yoga has taught me the essentials needed to create a happy environment, body and mind.
I’ve been running The Yoga Place North in Adlington since 2007.
Prior to this, I was active out in the community as a professional Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer, Leisure Manager and Yoga Instructor.
I’m proud to be a Junior Intermediate Level 2 Iyenga Yoga Instructor, having completed my training at the prestigious Manchester and District Iyenga Yoga Institute. In order to be accepted onto this sought-after pathway, I needed to show a minimum of three years of yoga practice, plus a formal recommendation to the teaching course from my own instructor at the time. I like to think that my hard work, focus and passion for yoga and life was a big drive to get me where I am today so that I may inspire others to seek their happiness to.
Iyengar's yoga is very strong in alignment and strength the thread of Patanjali's yoga Philosophy runs throughout it.
