Jann teaches a variety of classes, including all-levels classes using an Ashtanga Vinyasa style of sequence, tailoring it to the group; yin, and restorative. In all of her classes, she emphasizes conscious breathing, focal point and engagement of all 4 groups of abdominal muscles. Philosophy, anatomy “lessons”, proper alignment cues are important components of Jann's classes, but you can expect a bit of humor as well!
She completed the 200 hour teacher training at One Yoga Planet in Ashtanga Vinyasa and is an experienced 200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered (E-RYT200) Yoga Teacher. In addition, Jann is certified in Barre, has completed a Fitour's Mat Pilates training, Silver Sneakers Classic and Yoga, and is a Certified Personal Trainer and Therapeutic Exercise Specialist through the ACE.
