Jatta started her yoga path 2001 and since 2008 she has immersed herself with the Ashtanga vinyasa method that she discovered was unlike any other style of yoga. She felt the immediate connection with the practice and its effects resonated beyond the physical boundaries. She started traveling and practicing with many senior teachers of Ashtanga method: Sharath Jois, Lino Miele, Richard Freeman and David Swenson. She got certified as 500hr + Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher from Tattvaa yoga shala in Rishikesh 2012 and has been teaching extensively since. She practices daily with an authorised teacher from KPJAYI and being a student every day demonstrates that learning of the system is a continuous path.
Her teaching is backed up by her intense learning of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and Advaita Vedanta, the Non duality branch of the Hindu philosophy. The philosophy poses the ultimate goal of yoga; self enquiry and self discovery and the asana practice is an invitation to study the mystery of life and death; samsara and how to connect with the non physicality through the physical form to discover the truth that we are pure awareness existing as one consciousness.
