Every day I am inspired and amazed at the simple joys that physical expression brings. I believe yoga is for everyone and strive to make my classes accessible to students of all levels. Cultivating safe, structurally aligned poses and then finding the celebratory freedom that comes once this is established is the goal of every class. My classes are dynamic, empowering and filled with playful expression, with a focus on breath supported movements and a solid foundation. The goal is to balance the “sitting hunched over the computer” lifestyle that many of us have adopted with lots of hip and heart openers. My students will definitely be challenged and encouraged to find their own personal edge, but my hope is that they leave class feeling renewed and successful!

I first began doing yoga fourteen years ago and loved it so much that I just had to share it with others. I studied with Open Source Yoga to obtain my 240 Hour Yoga Instructor certificate and am registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT). I am a Hatha teacher with training and experience in the styles of Vinyasa, Power, Rehabilitative, Beginner, and Yin.

I do yoga to breathe, to be in the moment, to play, and to get closer to my authentic self. I teach yoga because I want to help others do the same.

Namaste.

Hatha, Flow, Power, Gentle and Beginner classes.

Professional and lovely!

I suffer from a very painful back injury. When I first met Jayme, she took the time to listen to my body concerns. She made me feel at ease and assured me the exercises would help, and they did! During her class, she is very aware of all her students and goes around the room to give individual tips and adjustments. She lets you know what you can or can't do depending on your body and she makes sure to ask about any improvements. I strongly recommend her as a teacher, she is professional and lovely!
