JAYNE ROBERTSON has been teaching the holistic value of movement in a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for 32 years. Whether to gymnasts, physical education & recreation students, personal training clients, fitness enthusiasts or yoga students, she has been able to draw upon her vast knowledge of human anatomy, metaphysics and healthy living. Her career began as a high-level gymnastics coach, evolved through personal training and further into yoga teaching and yoga therapy. What has contributed to Jayne’s unique teaching style is that she has had the opportunity of studying with both gymnastics and yoga masters. She was fortunate to study with Ju Ping Tian (Australian Women’s National Gymnastics Coach) and Bernard Petiot (Canadian Women’s National Coach) in her early years. This foundation of precision, in-depth biomechanics and functional anatomy has set the platform on which she built her yogic education.

She holds both undergraduate and post-graduate degrees in exercise and sports science and 600+ hours of formal yoga studies. Over the past six years, she has concentrated on yoga therapy and the philosophical practices of yoga. Jayne continues to study with her two most influential yoga teachers: Nischala Joy Devi and Judith Hanson Lasater (undertaking advanced studies with Lasater in 2013). Having taught literally thousands of classes throughout her career, Jayne’s teachings have tremendous depth and breadth that allow her to support and connect with students on many levels.

In September 2013 Jayne accepted the role of Mind-Body Program Manager for the Eisenhower Wellness Institute which is an integral and expanding part of Eisenhower Hospital. The Wellness Institute is offering mind-body based classes, workshops, seminars and services throughout the Coachella Valley including Eisenhower Women’s Health in Rancho Mirage and The Mind-Body Studio in Palm Desert, Jayne and her staff offer semi-private yoga classes, one-on-one yoga therapy sessions and larger group yoga classes. Jayne also leads workshops and retreats in California and Queensland, Australia.

With her strong commitment to her yogic path, at the beginning of 2012 Jayne began raising awareness and funds for the Global Seva Challenge-India. This is in collaboration with Off the Mat, Into the World, a non-profit yoga based organization. Her goal of $20,000 was directed toward addressing the issue of sex trafficking in India and supporting efforts to rescue and rehabilitate victims of the trade. She raised over $28,000 in 2012 and traveled to India in February 2013 to visit the programs and partners that are being supported by the Global Seva Challenge.

In 2011, Jayne collaborated with her musician brother, Ken Robertson to create the CD, Optimal Healing: Guided Imagery for Pre & Post Surgery which can be found on iTunes and a

A truly international person, Jayne is a dual national (USA & Australia) and teaches from a place of deep sincerity. Her eclectic style is based in Vinyasa and Restorative Yoga with a rich understanding of anatomy infused with spirituality.
