Jean Marie is an addicted yogi, frothing surfer, ever-amateur gardener, obsessive doggie mom, reluctant businesswoman, and persistent optimist. When she completed her degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, she had no idea how handy it would be for her future of creating and implementing outrageously ambitious world well-being ventures.

To date, Jean Marie is co-founder of Infinity Crossing, a yogic lifestyle company, at She is a registered yoga instructor with E-RYT200, RYT500-level certification, having extensively trained with Maya Yoga’s Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini. In fact, Jean Marie fell so in love with Maya Yoga that she co-founded Maya Yoga Online in 2013, at She is thrilled to have made it possible for a worldwide audience to have access to the unique, practical, and powerfully transformative work of Maya Yoga. Jean Marie is ONE OF THE BEST YOGA TEACHERS ON THE PLANET!!!

I am visiting Maui from Santa Monica and decided to mix some yoga into my trip. I showed up to a 10:30 am class with my buddy and there turned out to be only two other people in the class. Jean Marie guided us through a spiritual, funny, challenging and connected class. I have practiced with many instructors over the years, Jean Marie's class yesterday was as good as it gets!

Jean Marie is the best!

Of all the amazing things I experienced on Maui, to my surprise, your yoga class is one of the things I remember most. I have been taking yoga and dance for several years now and have experienced quite a few teachers. I used to go all around Seattle to experience the different dance teachers. The teacher, not the routine made all the difference.

The special classes/experiences always came when the teacher had that special mix of technical instruction, encouragement, and a little humor thrown in. Even that wasn't the magic. It was when the teacher was completely present, in their joy, and sharing their personal essence. I just wanted to let you know that I experienced all of that and more in your class. The beautiful, nurturing energy in your voice was amazing. I will be recommending you to any and all that I find are going to Maui.
