Described as “a natural healer with an intuitive practice”, Jeanette is committed to helping others heal and transform through the science of bodywork and Yoga. She creates therapeutic, inspired practices designed to support and nurture others on their path. With a focus on intention, alignment and balance her offerings create an environment that is uplifting and soothing. Jeanette’s philosophy begins with the belief that the body and breath are intimately connected with the mind, and that the ancient science of yoga enhances well being on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level. She is delighted to help others achieve an extraordinary quality of life.
Jeanette began Metta Bhav as a result of a lifelong pursuit to discover happiness and achieve quality of life. As a mother of two, long term care consultant and USAF Veteran, Jeanette’s life experiences give her a unique approach to health and happiness. She blends her maternal compassion, therapeutic geriatric experience and intense focus to help others achieve optimal wellness.
In 2008, serious injury led her toward a deeper study and understanding of the science of yoga and the healing it can bring. Informed of the benefits of these modalities through her own healing process, Jeanette became inspired to work toward enhancing the health and relieving the suffering of others.
She received her certification through Yoga Alliance and is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists and the American Massage Therapy Association. She also works with special needs populations applying the technique of yoga and massage in therapeutic ways that promote healing inside and out.
