I have been teaching yoga for 13 years. My intention when teaching is to help students build confidence in their movements, find more ease in their lives, and also humility in the fact we are just human and we all must start where we are. This understanding is a stepping-stone for more potential. Might there be limitations in movement due to pregnancy, or emotional imbalance, stress, injury, or just a slump in energy(which is a momentary limitation), we all have some limitation. Finding creative solutions to ease suffering is how we flourish in our lives. ~
My studies: Anusara Immersion with Stacy Rosenburg, and Advanced Studies along with Restorative Yoga Training through Judith Hanson Lasater. Initial certification from Ananda Yoga in Nevada City in 2000. BUT my studies have not stopped there. I work with pilates, pelvic floor exerices, neuroscience, physical therapy exercises, pre and postnatal yoga & pilates, self-massage techniques, and I continue to advance as my students grow.
