It is very important to me to be able to do work in the world that supports people in healing and connecting with their true selves, seeing their own inner divine light, in opening their hearts. I love leading people in the process of discovering this for themselves and that is where yoga comes in. My role as an instructor is to guide and support, creating a safe space for exploration, teaching with compassion, integrity and creativity.
I have worked with various groups of people, such as men in alcohol and drug recovery, adults with developmental disabilities, refugees and survivors of torture, people with MS and fibromyalgia, people with mental illness and dual diagnosis, women in shelters, and at risk teens and young girls.
I have also worked with children and I can also teach bilingually in Spanish as well as English.
