Since 1995 I have practiced a mindful practice of yoga based on the lessons taught by my Iyengar trained teachers. I encourage students to make appropriate modifications to ensure they achieve good alignment and positioning so that they can receive the benefits of each asana. I can adapt my classes for beginners as well as advanced practitioners. I look forward to sharing my practice with you. Namaste.

Iyengar for everyone

Jen is a lovely yoga teacher who adjusts her teaching for all students.

More than just a teacher

Jen has a fantastic way of sharing her knowledge of asana practice with students. Her voice is warm, yet carries authority, which reinforces her experience of different styles of yoga. Her sequences are varied and they flow. She uses sanskrit, and English terms, which I think is a plus, as is her friendliness and her own ability to execute poses with accuracy, great form, elegance and safety. What I love about Jen's teaching is how she brings body awareness into her cueing, really making you think about the parts of your own body being used in that said pose, she does this without making you feel intimidated, just more aware, confident and safe. She goes the extra mile!
