Jen is a passionate and dynamic instructor with a background rooted in Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Bikram, and Anusara. She emphasizes alignment, encourages mindfulness, and invites playfulness with each deep breath. She offers classes at all levels, from beginning to advanced, and teaches self acceptance at every step on the journey.
Jen began her practice as a massage therapist and continuously encountered the same kinds of chronic aches and pains. In an effort to offer her clients more tools to help themselves beyond the massage, she pursued her 200 Hr yoga teacher training as well as her first introduction to Thai Yoga Massage. Equipped with these new skills she expanded her professional practice to include instructing yoga and Thai massage all over the United States and around the world. After years of travel, she has returned to Austin to bring the culmination of her experiences into a richer, more well-rounded teaching style. Her approach to yoga stems from a therapeutic intent while also challenging the student to increase strength, stability, and stamina.
