I started practicing yoga in 2004. What first drew me to yoga was the physical practice and how it made me feel. As I continued to practice I became interested in the other aspects of yoga and its mind body connection. I began my journey as an instructor in 2009 and shortly after received my RYT 200 through YogaFit/Yoga Alliance. I am always eager to learn and grow, which is why I recently began my 500 hour journey with Awaken Yoga School in Mentor, Ohio.
I teach free classes once a week for Euclid school teachers. I also teach classes at Jenda Yoga, located at Doyles Karate Academy in Mentor, Ohio, and at CrossFit Painesville in Painesville, Ohio.
My "day job" is working as a middle school band director in the Euclid City School District. I received my BA in Music Education in 1999 and have been teaching music for the last 13 years. In addition to being a teacher, I am a wife and mother of two. Yoga flows through every aspect of my life, both on and off the mat.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to practice and share yoga with others. I look forward to learning and growing through my ongoing studies and from my students. Yoga is a very important part of my life. It keeps me sane, balanced and breathing with ease each day.
Love, Peace & Gratitude!
