I teach breath-focused hatha yoga classes in the workplace, to private groups and individuals, and at Los Angeles-area yoga studios.
My aim as a teacher is to create the space for you to connect to your breath and your body so that your practice becomes your own, even in a group setting. By finding that connection to ourselves, we can experience the fullness of each pose and of this very moment.
I completed my Yoga Alliance-certified 500-hour training at the awesome Black Dog Yoga in Sherman Oaks, graduating from renowned yoga educator Leslie Kaminoff’s in-depth Yoga Anatomy course as part of the training.
I have had and continue to have amazing teachers who have been like street lights on a foggy California night allowing me to see my next step along the yoga path. I have so much gratitude for each one of them. My mentor Maria Cristina Jimenez taught me to understand that everything we touch in life touches us back, that a sense of connection is always there. My mentor Sigrid Matthews and teacher Leslie Kaminoff each in their own way have guided me to feel my body and what was going on in my body and to move from that place. The freedom to feel me shifted everything and has influenced my practice, my teaching, and my life.
