Jenn Winzenried has always found peace, presence, and adventure in Mother nature, a “tree-hugger” one might say. Growing up in the mountain’s of Utah and now living at the beach in Santa Barbara, California, this girl loves it all!

Jenn worked in Health and Fitness for about 10 years before discovering the practice of Yoga. She started to do yoga as another form of exercise, but quickly realized it was much more than physical exercise. Yoga taught her to love her body, her mind and spirit in a way she never knew possible. She discovered she could find the same peace and presence in her own body that she experienced in mother nature. Her career made a shift, she wanted to share this connection, this inward beauty, this union “yoga” with her community.

Jenn immersed herself in the study of yoga. She completed a yoga, community and service program at Mount Madonna Center with master yogi Baba Hari Dass and his senior teachers. Her desire for more knowledge and expansion in yoga led her to Salt Lake to complete a life changing 1000 hour yoga teacher training at Inbody Academy with D’ana Baptiste and many other amazing yoga teachers. She recently completed another 200 hr. training in Devi Yoga for Women in Boulder, CO with teachers Kirsten Walker and Alison Litchfield.

Jenn offers group and private yoga classes to all levels of students and encourages the acceptance of practicing in gratitude from where you are NOW. Her yoga classes vary from restorative, yin, peaceful flow, vinyasa flow, women's yoga, yoga for athletics, Aroma yoga and more. Private yoga and Therapeutic yoga is a gift, in which Jenn is honored to offer. Jenn encourages self exploration through the yoga poses and then taking what you learn out into your daily life. Living yoga as a lifestyle. Jenn also teaches adventure yoga outdoors, which combines hiking, cardio, strength building, and/or stand up paddling and kayaking!

"Yoga has changed my life forever and I can't image life without it. I am honored to offer yoga in beautiful Santa Barbara and to connect as a community to create peace, love and light. May I hold space for you to practice presence, find balance, connect to mother earth, invoke creative energy, discover power and strength, open your heart, connect to your truth, tune into your intuition, and find the bliss of surrender and letting go as we then rest together in the highest divine power."
