Yogi, traveler, nature-lover and teacher. I find inspiration in the natural world and in the body's amazing ability to heal itself. I empower people to listen to their bodies and tune into their innate wisdom. I have completed over 1,500 hours of study in wellness, including certifications in yoga, reiki, nutrition, herbs and meditation. And I've been teaching yoga since 2008, based out of San Diego, CA.
I've always had an interest in natural alternatives to pills and medical doctors. Yoga introduced me to the concept of holistic health- integrating the mind, body and spirit to achieve wholeness. My own experiences with chronic pain and food allergies solidified my belief in alternative therapies and paved the way for me to become more proactive in my health and well-being.
Now I teach yoga, meditation and wellness programs in the and abroad. I believe it's important for yoga to meet people where they are- that means delivering yoga to the workplace, teaching modifications to people with injuries, and demonstrating how ancient techniques still apply to a modern lifestyle.
If I'm not in the studio, I'm probably cooking up gluten-free goodies, trekking through the forest, or brainstorming ideas for my next project.
