The founder of Shine yoga in Newquay, Cornwall and a passionate yoga teacher Jennifer Austin teaches a dynamic fusion of Hatha and Vinyasa Flow Yoga styles. Jen introduced Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga classes to Cornwall and loves to teach this new, challenging and exhilarating style near Newquay and around Cornwall. She is also passionate about teaching in the great outdoors leading beach and wild yoga classes on Newquay's beaches and around Cornwall's most beautiful locations. Jen travelled to Rishikesh, a holy city on the banks of the Ganges in India, known as the birthplace of yoga, to study traditional Hatha Yoga and at Rishikesh Yog Peeth she gained her 200hr RYT certification.
She has travelled the world and experienced many different styles and methods of yoga – Hatha and Ashtanga yoga in India, Anusara in Thailand and Vinyasa Flow in Sri Lanka. After trekking through the Himalayas she studied meditation in Nepal, and she trained in Thai Yoga Massage in Chiang Mai Northern Thailand.
