Jen Berres (E-RYT200) started consistently practicing yoga in 2008 after retiring from a professional dance career. Yoga was a way to remain strong and flexible on the physical level, but what captured Jen’s heart most is how stress relieving yoga was. She began to see changes in her outlook of life, body image and found herself living with more thoughtfulness and intention.
Jen received her 200 hour certification from a Yoga Alliance accredited school in Miami with elite teacher Terri Cooper. She also practiced with a number of great teachers from other yoga styles including Ashtanga, Anusara, Bikram and Jivamukti Yoga. Jen loves to blend various elements from these styles into her own flow class. You will find her teaching to be to be light hearted fun, challenging, with a key focus on breath and alignment. She believes that a consistent practice will lead transformation on many levels by releasing personal limitations and open students to their highest potential.
Jen lives her passion everyday sharing her love of teaching yoga (and Barre fitness classes) to the community. She believes that anyone can benefit from yoga with a little love, breath and patience.
