“Yoga is to be adapted to the body – not the other way around”– this is the keystone philosophy that supports my work. I encourage all practitioners to become “an expert on themselves.”
My classes combine both long-held standing postures (in the Anusara alignment-based style) AND flowing movement matched with breath – vinyasa. I want for you to create an intimate connection to your breath, life force energy, and a meditative dance. I use calming and uplifting music to help you to drop into your own “flow.” My classes are casual and unique; I use mantra (repetitive phrases or prayers) to inspire each practitioner. All of my work emphasizes SANTOSHA - or the yogic ability to be as you are, with supreme joy.
