Jennifer Morrison has been a student of yoga since 1993 and was introduced to Ashtanga Yoga in 1996, which she has been practicing ever since. She is committed to its path as a way to cultivate presence and equilibrium – on the mat and in daily life.
During Jennifer’s 15 years of teaching, yoga has flourished, and classes can number up to 50 students, or more. While the far-reaching aspect of yoga is wonderful, the method of one-to-one teaching has significantly diminished. Opening studio 72 is a response to the mass yoga phenomenon where students can expect small classes and receive individualized attention and support.
Jennifer is a strong believer in the powerful, healing effect of conscious touch as a way to access an individual’s own learning and healing potential. Her bodywork certification in Structural Integration (The Rolf Method) and introduction to CranioSacral therapy lends its wisdom to her teaching knowledge and approach. With clarity and compassion, Jennifer teaches to share the Ashtanga tradition and the infinite gifts of yoga.

“One of the great joys of teaching is meeting students right where they are – in their bodies, their lives, on any given day – and supporting their practice as a means to experience a sense of vitality, connection, and surrender.”
