I discovered the transformative power of yoga while travelling in India in 1998 and it has been an integral part of my life ever since. While living in San Francisco, I deepened my yoga practice and knowledge through numerous classes and workshops in different yoga methods like Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Iyengar, Anusara, Restorative and Yin and was fortunate to learn from amazing teachers like Ana Forrest and Judith Lasater.
Since living in Spain, I have completed a 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Certification in the REALIGN Method , with its own creator and teacher Amanda Dee, which had a core focus on yoga anatomy, bio mechanics and yoga therapeutics. This prepared me immensely for teaching yoga in a safe way and for all levels.
I have also practiced and taught dance and chi gong and have been a bodyworker for many years, all of which filter through in my classes and have enhanced my teaching.
I feel with my mission as a teacher is to provide a comfortable place for students to feel this body - mind- spirit alchemy that can be experienced through doing yoga and to encourage students to bring their new awareness, insights and practice from class into their daily lives.
