Jennifer feels that her role as a yoga teacher is to facilitate a deeper level of awareness of one’s body that is free from judgment. As a strong tree has to be rooted into the soil but also pliable enough to allow the wind to blow through its branches without snapping, so too can yoga facilitate a strong rooted mind and compassionate pliable heart. With a deeper understanding of our own being one can cultivate compassion for oneself and for others.
In a class, Jennifer often weaves asana, pranayama, meditation, sound healing, yummy assists, and story-telling to help you rediscover health and joy in your life.
Jennifer’s journey as a practitioner and never-ending student of yoga and the healing arts began over 15 years ago. She has been blessed to study yoga, massage, acupuncture, reiki, shamanic healing, tai chi, qi gong, and sound healing under the profound guidance of many wonderful teachers throughout the country.
