Hello Yogi Friends! I come from a professional dance background and in 2002 I tried hot Yoga for the first time! I fell in love, instantly, with the athleticism required, and a SWEAT that I'd never felt before! It wasn't long until I craved more than a physical practice and soon found myself exploring many styles, with many teachers. In 2010 I traveled to India, where I was certified as an instructor and began my path of sharing my personal passion of mindfulness and moving meditation. In 2013 I left my Canadian roots to marry my husband in WA and found myself owning and running a Yoga studio in less than a year! Every day, I am inspired by my students. I admire their strength, determination and willingness to 'let go'. If you take a class from me, expect a few corny jokes, a lot of body awareness and alignment cues, and yummy lavender infused, hands-on adjustments! I look forward to seeing you and your powerful, making-time-for-you self on the mat!

Jenny always offers something new

Every time I've taken Jenny's class, I've learned something new about yoga and about myself. That's saying something, since I've been practicing yoga for a good 15 years and have recently become a teacher myself.

Creative, fun, amazing

I LOVE Jenny's classes and I learn something new every time I take her class, whether it's a variation, a metaphor to describe a pose, or a thoughtful perspective. I feel amazing after Jenny's classes, because she really *sees* each student in the class and gives excellent cues without being too wordy or talkative so you can get into your breath and body.

Jenny is readily able to tailor the sequence to the energy of the room, student requests, and I feel safe and supported throughout a class. Most of the time I smile or laugh and feel more uplifted and positive about the world.
Not only is Jenny a wonderful teacher, but she is an amazing human being with a giving heart and a community-minded spirit. I feel so fortunate that Jenny owns the studio in our town of Port Angeles.
