I completed my 200-Hour Teacher Training at CorePower and have been a Registered Yoga Teacher based in Minneapolis for over 2 years.
I began practicing yoga 7 years ago. As a competitive dancer, I was first drawn to yoga as a physical activity because it resembled many of the motions my body was accustomed to. I soon learned that yoga was not only about the physical practice, but also about calming the mind and being present. This new awareness grew quickly and was immediately mirrored in my daily life and helped tremendously in building my physical practice.
I teach vinyasa flow classes with a fun and casual atmosphere. The classes are choreographed to both stretch the body and build strength, while drawing attention to your breath and developing mindfulness.
