Jessica was first introduced to yoga while attending ASpiriTouch Institute for massage therapy certification in 2000. Since that time Jessica has been drawn to yoga and began practicing on a part-time basis while attending nursing school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jessica really enjoyed the benefits yoga provided for her body, mind, and spirit--also, it helped her deal with the stress of nursing school! Over the last few years Jessica has been practicing yoga regularly and decided to not only be a yoga student for life, but also a teacher. In August of 2010 Jessica completed her 200 hour teacher training certification under Pamela Bliss at YogAsylum in Brookfield and is now a Yoga Alliance RYT 200 certified instructor. She is excited to be able to share the transformative power of yoga with others.
In addition to teaching yoga, bachelors-prepared registered nurse, doula, Certified Lactation Counselor, and a massage and Reiki practioner. Jessica draws from her varied and expansive background in holistic health while teaching yoga and working with clients.
