Jessica began practicing yoga as a way to stay in shape and reduce stress. After a life-changing motorcycle accident, Jessica’s physical and spiritual healing led her deeper into her yoga practice. Inspiration from this experience led her to become a yoga teacher. Over the last 16 years she has studied various forms of yoga, including teachings from the Krishnamacharya, Sivananda, and Kripalu lineages. Jessica's primary teachers have been Gurmukh Mike Noury, Marlysa Sullivan, and Yoganand Michael Carroll. She has a private yoga therapy practice in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Jessica is devoted to the study of the history and philosophy of Tantra Hatha Yoga, and how these ancient practices translate to a modern lifestyle. The yoga therapy components of Jessica's teaching are based on her credential as a Certified Therapeutic Yoga Teacher by the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts, The Center for Integrative Yoga Studies and the International Association of Yoga Therapists, not derived from her status as an E-RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance Registry.
