One can say that I stumbled into Yoga through My background is in psychology and family therapy and I have been practicing Mindfulness based family counseling for years before realizing the undeniable role our bodies play in our emotional experience of the world. I always used to say that you can get to the body through the mind or to the mind through the body and the latter is faster. This is yoga to me.
