Hi, it is my mission to share the joy of movement with my students and clients. Yoga is for EVERYbody. I start where my students are. It is extremely important to me that I provide modifications, challenges and as many options as possible so that people feel comfortable, safe and welcome in my classes.

Taking a class with Jill is a beautiful experience. She tailors the class so we all do the best that we can. Jill has so much knowledge to pass on to all of us. I always look forward to the next class.

Jill Ackiron-Moses - A Wonderful Yoga Teacher!

Jill is a terrific Yoga teacher! Her sessions are creative and very beneficial - and also fun! She has a big following in the group I go to. It's been my experience (and I've heard the same from many others) that since we've been doing Yoga with Jill, we've become much more limber! Jill is a very caring person, always looking to make us feel better and stronger - and happier. I heartily recommend Jill!

Chair Yoga

Let's say you want to take a yoga class but do not want to get up and down off the floor. Chair yoga is sitting in the chair and then doing exercise standing holding onto the chair. First you do meditative breathing and then different poses with each time going deeper into the stretch . When it's time for standing you are working on balance also.
At the end of class it is time for Shavsana followed by wishes of loving kindness
Jill classes are enjoyable and each one focusing on a different part of the body to keep it from being the same.

My yoga instructor, Jill

I have been taking several different types of yoga with Jill as the instructor. I did restorative yoga, chair yoga, yin yoga, Nidra yoga and Hatha yoga. I have enjoyed all my classes with her. She is very helpful with body issues and offers alternative moves. She has worked with all ages and she always tells us to honor and listen to our bodies. She has a very soothing voice, is very knowledgeable about the proper positions so that you do not harm your body. She gives great instructions on how to do moves and demonstrates. She will also do a hands on approach but only if you are comfortable with it. I continue to take yoga lessons from Jill and look forward to all my different classes with her.

My favorite Yogacize teacher

Jill is great, she adapts her classes to her students. I take her class at a Senior Center, and she makes sure that everyone benefits. Younger and older, we all benefit. Her smile and her sense of joy are contagious. When I see Jill, my eyes close and I enter into a state of relaxation. Her class is a combination of relaxation, excercize and hard work.

Jill is the best!

I have been taking yoga classes with Jill for a number of years now and she is fantastic! She is extremely knowledgeable and is an excellent instructor as well as a terrific and kind individual. Taking any of her classes is a must!!!

Relax with Jill

After an exhausting day at work I would look forward to my yoga class with Jill. I would come out relaxed almost hypnotized with tranquility. I looked forward all week to yoga with Jill
