About Jill Jones (Karma Tashi Paldron )
Right from when I was a little girl I have always thought I could change the world, to make it better, happier, kinder for all. As long as I live in this life and all future lives, I will never stop believing this, I have a passion to help everyone to be happy, even if its just a little bit.
I believe that this Universe should be “ONE NATION UNDER ONE SUN". That every one should be equal with the same happiness. A big task I know, but ripples, ripple out from me to you, from you to yours, and from yours to the world. The Dalai Lama is always quoted as saying That, “everyone want to be happy”, that is our one commonality.
My purpose as a Yoga Teacher and Tibetan Buddhist is to have compassion and kindness for all sentient beings. This is my dedication every morning after meditation.
I am passionate about my teaching and continually explore new techniques, which keeps my own daily practice fresh and alive. My own practice is not full of advanced postures, and I will not encourage you into pretzel-like contortions.
I am interested in functional fitness and cultivating an open and accepting attitude to your body and mind. Helping you create a strong body from the ground upwards. My primary motivation as a teacher is in helping people find strength, ease and comfort in both their yoga practice and their daily lives. My back ground of competitive sport, including Karate and Body Building left me with several joint problems. I have found that yoga helped with these injuries and has strengthened my body and increased my flexibility.
My journey has lead me to inner inquiry and self realisation. On March 30th 2013 I took Mahayana Refuge at Kagyu Samye Ling and I am now Buddhist and follow the buddhist way of life.
The Buddha said "that life is shaped by our mind; we become what we follows an evil thought as the wheel of the cart follows the oxen that draws it. Joy follows a pure thought like a shadow that never leave”.
