I have been practicing yoga since 2007 and it has become part of my daily life. I started yoga with the suggestion of my doctor who I was seeing for anxiety and panic attacks. I had been suffering for years from anxiety and did not believe in taking anti-depressants to ease my wasn't depressed. So he suggested that I try a yoga class. I signed up for my first class at Prana Yoga and Dance Studio and was instantly hooked. The peace that I felt within me after my first practice was indescribable! It healed me. Since the day I stepped foot into Prana, I knew that this magnificent thing that I had discovered would be a part of my life forever. It was love at first savasana! I have been anxiety free for 6 years now thanks to the practice of yoga!

Since yoga has changed my life so much, I wanted to bring that experience into other people's lives as well. I wanted to do yoga everyday, with everyone, for the rest of my life. I enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training 200 Hours in January of 2011 and became a Certified Yoga Teacher through Prana Yoga and Dance Studio and a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance in November 2011. I had the honor of learning from some amazing teachers; Kathleen Kossman, Rowan Silverberg, and Holly Clemens. I am also a Certified Herbalist, certified through Parma Hospital Learning Center. I teach Vinyasa style yoga. I work passionately with children, pregnant women, anxiety and depression sufferers, bariatric surgery patients, MS sufferers, amputees, athletes, eating disorder recovery patients, seniors, beginners and intermediates!

I teach yoga practices all over the Greater Cleveland area! I am currently teaching classes at Yoga 101 Berea, The Source Yoga Studio in Lakewood, Soul Stretch Mobile Yoga, Tranquility & Wellness in Parma Heights, The Brunswick Recreation Center, XPE in the Game in Medina, as well as private in home classes and corporate wellness programs (MTD Products, The Original Mattress Factory, and The Columbia Hills Counrty Club). In the past I owned a yoga studio, Lily White Yoga in Strongsville, I've taught at Yoga Central Strongsville, The Strongsville Recreation Center, PURE Health & Fitness in Strongsville, Core Cognitions, LLC in Parma, Westside Yoga in Lakewood, Synergy Sports Massage, LLC in Berea, and The Behavioral Intervention Institute of Ohio in Westlake. I also work with non-profit organizations such as Fostering Hope, #FREEHUGS, and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

I love my practice. I love how it makes me feel, the way it makes me feel about others, and how it continues to change my life.

Favorite yoga instructor!!!

Jill is one of the main reasons I still do yoga today. I had never tried yoga until I took one of her classes at the rec center, and I loved it. She is warm friendly and optimistic, has an all around good outlook on life and has helped me become more spiritual which has brought me some inner peace. Jill is very knowledgable not only about yoga practice but about bringing peace in your life and calming your mind. You'll never regret going to Jills class!!

Excellent yoga teacher!!!!

I would and do recommend Jill to everyone. She is so focused and passionate about yoga. She respects each students individual ability and her classes are an absolute treat. The hour with her is a serious workout for my body as well as a delicious and soothing experience for my soul. I have made strides with my flexibility and my well being. She has a calming presence, a comforting voice and makes you feel like you are in the most capable hands. I discovered Jill when I was going through a difficult time in my life and her classes really did help me through it, to come out on the other side of it with an amazing body and a peaceful spirit! Jill has been doing yoga for XPE sports for i'd say about a year now. Always shows up early, always in a happy mood! She works great with our athletes and they are a tough group to handle. Love her teaching. Very happy to have met her and have her as our yoga lady :)

Yoga on the Go

As a first timer, I felt wonderful after I left and want to continue for the flexibility and tranquility of Yoga. Jill is a very good teacher! She helps where help is needed and continues to change things up, so you are working on different areas of the mind and body.

Jill is awesome!

I started going to yoga when I was plannin my wedding and the doctors said for me to try and relax and they suggested yoga. I didn't really out to much thought into it but I found a studio close to my house so I decised to check it out. Jill was the instructor and I lived her class. I lived that she played music, joked with us before hand and did a special relaxation at the end of class. She is supper easy to talk with and she knows for stuff! I highly suggested checking out her class.

I have been practicing yoga with Jill for a little over a year. She has been instrumental in my healing both emotionally and physically. She provides a very supportive nurturing environment to practice in. She Rocks and I recommend her to anyone who wants to improve their life.

Jill is an Angel from the Universe. She is talented, knowledgeable, spirited, thoughtful, spiritual, kind, mentoring, joyful, positive, motivational, loving, dedicated, happy, giving, authentic...It is peaceful just to be in her presence. Her classes are amazing and well thought out. Every detail is put into her work, from music, to flow, to meditation and inspiration. I am so grateful to have met her and feel blessed to practice with her.

Very happy student!

Jill has a very good balance between spirit and body. I find myself extremely zen when leaving her class yet feel sore the next day from a good challenge. Jill seems to have a good understanding of what her students are capable of depending on the class and does a wonderful job describing exactly what needs to be done to achieve the postures. Jill encourages and reminds us to carry our practice off the mat into our lives. I REALLY feel the difference.

Jill is awesome!

What sets Jill apart is her genuine love of yoga, it's not contrived. I think anyone that would attend one of her classes would immediately pick up on it. You feel like she is there to guide you through your practice and she wants you to achieve whatever goal you have for it. As self conscious as a new yoga student can be, I have never felt uncomfortable in her classes. She encourages you and knows when her students can push it a little harder. Think chair pose and you hear "one inch lower" ugh! She is always positive and she ends her classes with an inspirational reading. With her guidance, my practice has made my life better. I can't thank her enough!

experienced, fantastic instructor

Jill is a fantastic instructor! She varies up practice so that we don't ever get bored or complacent in our practice. She challenges us in different ways each week, working in new poses while allowing us to work towards perfecting those we're familiar with. Jill's playlist selections are always in line with the type of practice she is leading us in that night. She's great at coupling the music with the feel of the practice. I'm so glad I found Jill and will continue to recommend her to anyone I know who is beginning yoga, or an experienced student!

Jill is an AMAZING teacher!

I was brand new to yoga and Jill became my teacher. I was so lucky to become one of her students. She is so passionate about helping her students. When she left the studio I was going to, I didn't renew my membership because no other teacher could or will compare to her. I learned a lot about myself while going to her classes....physically, emotionally and spiritually. Besides being an incredible teacher, she is truly the most compassionate and beautiful person who does so much for others. Meeting her has been very meaningful to me. :-)

Jill's vinyasa classes are wonderful! Jill is very creative with her sequencing, and the classes truly flow. Jill loves all kinds of music, and her playlists are great! The music enhances the practice. I find the classes to be fun, and by the end of class, a little challenging, which I like! She ends class with a positive thought or with an inspirational reading. It's a little bit of wisdom that makes me think! Her classes are joyful, and I leave class happy!

The best yoga teacher ever!

After participating in one of Jill's classes, I absolutely feel both calm and energized for the day. I am able to push my body beyond what I thought I was capable of but always very safely with Jill's guidance. She plays terrific music and each class is different from the last!

Wonderful Person Inside& Out

I was so happy to stumble upon Jill while going to a new studio. Her classes are engaging, powerful and relaxing all in one.
Very knowledgeable, picks up on the feeling of the class well, have fun moves and adjustments. Plus she is very friendly & we've had wonderful conversations after class.
I'm personally on my way to become a yoga instructor and Jill is a huge inspiration how I'd like my classes to feel one day.

Best Yoga Instructor in Town

Jill's instruction and personal guidance changed my life and rid my life of anxiety. She helped me though some difficult times and I came out a stronger person. My initial intentions were mainly emotional and stress relief, but I was overly impressed with the unexpected physical benefits of yoga. I've learned a lot about the physical and mental relations in the body and can tune my practice for how I'm feeling that day. I feel great. Thanks Jill.

A favorite

I have practiced yoga for 14 years and have experienced many classes and instructors over the years. Jill is without a doubt, one of the best instructors I have encountered. I work at Fostering Hope, a non-profit that brings trauma informed yoga classes to children living in foster care. When we began this program we knew Jill had to be part of the program! She has been a huge asset to our organization and the children we serve. I would recommend her to yogis of all levels.

Jill is wonderful! She has taught me so much! I am an amputee and she really took the time to help me in my journey and show me different ways to achieve my goals! I use alot of the techniques she showed me every day!

Love Jill's style!

I really think Jill is a great teacher. I think she is extremely in tune with the needs of her students and adjusts accordingly, while still providing a full and fulfilling experience. I think she's great because it is obvious how dedicated she is to the practice and spirit of yoga and it shows in every movement and explanation. I always leave her class feeling balanced and peaceful, and physically stronger than when I walked in.

Open and Encouraging Teacher

Being a teacher myself, I know I want an instructor that is calm, supportive and patient, yet open to having fun and not too wrapped up in perfection. Jill is precisely that teacher. I always feel encouraged and welcomed in her class, but yet she pushes me to be better and stretch (literally) beyond what I thought possible.

Jill has helped me transform my life, mind and ability to cope through Yoga. She is a wonderful teacher and example. Practice during Jill's classes, guide me to letting go of everything that holds me back and I am able to carry her lessons with me from practice to life. Have loved the last year of her various classes and only wish I could attend more regularly. She is an amazing teacher.

Wonderful teaching techniques!

I started going to yoga practice 2 years ago with Jill and haven't stopped because of the peace and serenity that Jill brings to class. She has taught me how to breath and relax enough to deal with daily life. I have gained so much from learning from her, it's just hard to put into words. She is my salvation!
