Jnani is the founder/director of YCat Yoga Therapy in Cancer, Chronic Illness, Aging and End of Life, a 300 hour certification training for health professionals and Yoga teachers to adapt Yoga practices for these populations:

- Jnani is an integrative oncology specialist who directs the stress management program at St. Mary’s Medical Center Dignity Health in San Francisco and a 30 year staff member for the award-winning Commonweal and Smith Center’s cancer help programs. As a case manager, cardiac rehab specialist and yoga teacher, Jnani staffed Dean Ornish, MD’s heart disease reversal research and clinical programs and his ground-breaking early stage prostate cancer research program. She is a founding clinician for the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine in San Francisco and created the original Yoga programs for the UCSF cancer center. Jnani graduated magna cum laude BS Nursing, University of San Francisco.

Jnani served for four years as the executive director of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She has featured chapters in Yoga as Medicine and Yoga Therapy and Integrative Medicine and acts as consultant on numerous Yoga and cancer research studies. In her free time she likes to be out in SF bay - She just completed a nine week around the world voyage aboard Cinderella, Cendrillon a CMA-CGM cargo ship and is publishing her ocean reflections as an on-line work in progress soon.
