Jo Arganaraz (ERYT-500, RCYT, RPYT)

Dedicated and consistent asana practice has opened up both my body and mind. Yoga is truly my lifelong passion and ever evolving path. Coming from an academic ‘non sporty’ background, yoga has challenged me on every level and given me the strength to believe in myself and follow my truth and the flexibility to tackle the challenges of life.

Since 2009 I have taught Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga, Pre-natal Yoga and Kids Yoga in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and now Dubai. Yoga is a powerful practice and what starts as a fitness class for many, flowers into a powerful life changing and healing process.

Since 2013, As ERYT500 (Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher Trainer) I have the amazing opportunity of working with yoga teacher trainees along with Yogafirst and supporting those who are dedicated to developing and sharing yoga.

After 2 children, I am specialising in pre-natal yoga and pre-natal yoga teacher training offering women support and community at this beautiful time of life.

I am an active part of the yoga community in Dubai and have led retreats to India, Cambodia and Karma Yoga events (Global Mala Dubai 2014, 2015).

I practice the famous ‘7th series’ of Ashtanga yoga (with 2 year old son and my new baby!) and am supported by my Argentinian filmmaker husband.

Holistic

Jo's classes are refreshing. She has a wonderful way of blending traditional philosophy into a western style sequence. I leave her classes feeling like I received a holistic practice!

A true yogi soul

Jo is one of the few who stick to yogic principles and firmly believes that her practice works and shares her insights from her own experience to others. Very humble and generous. Very good yoga educator and also good with people who come to yoga to still their hectic minds.
