Joanna was introduced to yoga in 1979 and started teaching in 1987. Her many years of study and teaching bring a wealth of experience to the yoga class allowing her to give one-to-one attention within a group situation so each student can gain the most from every session.

Her experience of the positive effects of yoga on her own life and those of her students gives her the firm belief that yoga holds something for everyone no matter what age, sex, level of fitness or stage of life; the beneficial effects extend beyond the physical to the emotional and psychological resulting in a greater sense of all round wellbeing. In particular, at times of stress or anxiety yoga can help bring relief from symptoms and replace these with a strong body and a calm mind.
