I am a bhakti yogi (yoga in service and devotion) and practice yoga asana pranayama and meditation. This can be a daily asana practice or a moment in a cafe, observing life and showing gratitude.
Yoga, for me, is not what we practice on the mat, but what we take away from the mat and how we can incorporate it into our daily lives. I enjoy sharing the gift of yoga to all whom I meet and creating a space for people to grow, physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I find that the difficulties we face in our everyday life can be reflected in our asana practice. When we find an asana difficult we can create new pathways to work through it by connecting to our breath and shifting our mindset. We may not achieve it first, second or third time but the sincere endeavour will bring about change.
Bringing my gifts of compassion and healing I draw from the rich traditions of yoga encouraging and inspiring men and women to awaken to their essence and experience a deep connection to their source and to their community.
