Like so many others, I stumbled into a Yoga class with little idea of what it was.
Less than six months later I was registered for my first teacher training, which I completed during a one-month immersion at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Val Morin, Quebec, and here I am nearly 11 years later, with a second teacher training completed. This time in Kundalini Yoga under the guidance of incredible senior instructors in Owen Sound, Ontario.
In between, I shared in the building of a business, developed skills in small business management and tax services, developed a love for endurance “running”, had two incredible children, cultivated my passion for a whole-food, plant-based diet, studied and dreamed of one day having a garden (which I now have), discovered a new life after marriage, and experienced a spiritual awakening.
For me, this journey that is Yoga is beyond words. Learning to live from a place of love, honesty, appreciation, prosperity, peace, and faith is worth every ounce of effort put into this life-long daily practise.
Love and Blessings! Sat Nam!
