I'm a certified Registered Yoga Teacher, Prenatal Yoga Teacher, Mamalates Licensed Birth Recovery Professional and a Group Fitness Instructor. I believe in knowing your limits, challenging your boundaries and the power of a smile. I'm trained to teach a variety of yoga styles and fitness classes. I have experience teaching classes like: Beginner’s Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Vinyasa, Prenatal Yoga, and Postnatal Yoga, a Mommy + Me class that follows the Yoga Bonding sequence.
My style is open, grounding and friendly with a philosophy of, “just make it to your mat, the rest will take care of itself.”
I became a yoga teacher (RYT200) after experiencing the totally transformative process of pregnancy and becoming a mom; yoga helped me find my breath, my patience, and my depths of compassion. I also became a group fitness instructor to connect my love of fitness and passion for health with the importance of self-care. What began as a college elective course over ten years ago, my yoga practice has been part of my life journey as a way to connect, heal and nurture myself and others.
