I have been practicing Ashtanga yoga daily for the past 10 years. I am 200hr RYT certified by Andrew Eppler of Ashtanga Yoga Studio in Norman, OK and have undergone many months of in-depth study in the traditional system of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, including yogasana, mudra, philosophy, and pranayama with Sri BNS Iyengar of Mysore, India.
Yoga is a holistic method of self-exploration and self-mastery that confers many proven physical and psychological benefits. It requires no belief system other than a will to improve the functioning of the body, tame the mind, age gracefully, and explore the nature of one's own consciousness. All yoga sequences and techniques can be individualized to accommodate anyone's state of health and/or flexibility. Yoga is for everyone. I am honored to share this practice.
